City Tour - Traditional

Our tour guides take you on a tour through the historic town centre of Öhringen.

You will stroll through the old part of town, the picturesque Hofgarten (court gardens) with its ancient trees, the market place with the palace, the collegiate church (Stiftskirche) and many half-timbered houses in the town center.

You will get to know why Öhringen was named after the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius more than 1700 years ago, in what way the deed of foundation from 1037 is connected to the history of our town, who prevented Öhringen from becoming a free imperial city, how the town became part of Hohenlohe and much more!

You will visit famous sights and discover hidden corners and spots.

Come to Öhringen – by car, bus, train or city railway. Immerse yourself into the town of short distances with its longstanding history, bustling present time and sound future.

We look forward to seeing you!
